Meredith Yap

I am Adora Meredith Yap, a licensed Architect who graduated BS Architecture in University of Santo Tomas and studied Master in Architecture, Major in Hospital Planning and Design in University of the Philippines and with ten years of diversified experience in architectural and interior design.

I am knowledgeable with Revit Architecture, Autocad and Sketchup for 3D Interior and Exterior Perspective with V-Ray and Lumion software applications for detailed architectural design drawings.

I am capable of reviewing and analyzing design specifications and requirements and can conduct site inspection to ensure that the design conforms with the actual specifications based on the standards while coordinating design activities to resolve technical issues.

I have worked with design teams and managed construction projects like the renovation and alteration of residential structures, interior fit-outs in townhouses and condominiums, and architectural planning and design of a general hospital.

-Meeting with clients to present design solutions for Residential, Interior Design and Fit-out Projects including Hospital Space Planning and Design.

-Conducts feasibility study and site analysis prior to schematic sketches.

-Examines the client's needs and objectives while taking into consideration the project cost vs the budget for the proposed project.

-Conducts product sourcing for quality materials from suppliers.

-Supervises the progress of the entire project development to ensure compliance with the standards and to conform with the technical drawings while providing solutions for possible issues.

-Supervises the design team and conducts meetings with engineers and other allied professionals including sub-contractors and suppliers.

-Consolidates all drawing requirements and documents for the building permit application.

-Delegates tasks to the design and construction team and mentor them.

-Conducts site inspection and provides progress report.

Taught architectural students the principles of architectural planning and design provided in the course description for study. I taught some of the major subjects such as Architectural Design and Professional Practice. I also mentored students with their thesis and research studies. I also taught students on how to sketch and render using different medium or rendering process.
