A fully qualified and registered Workplace Safety & Heath Safety Officer, Registered Environmental Control Officer and with 6+ years of experience in Workplace Safety & Health. Has experience working as client safety representative. Good with information management, leading a team of safety personnel and strict adherence to company policies.
Excellent problem solving skills and great philosophy towards company’s interest in achieving a work safe environment so as to complete the project efficiently and safely.
Currently, I provide my services as a Lead WSH Officer to GS E&C who acts as the Main Contractor for NSC (North-South Corridor) N101 project in Singapore. I’m involved in the establishing, implementation and enforcement, monitoring, reviewing of the Safety Management System for building and civil infrastructure and tunneling works of the safety management system for the site and to develop a safe working culture and environment among other stakeholders.
In the course of my work, I have set up a record-keeping system in accordance to CP 79, SS506, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 elements and MOM regulations and other legal requirements, to educate all stakeholders on safety culture through safety talks, safety awareness, safety training and updates on the latest WSH amendments and news abstracted from WSH Council Circulars, MOM legal requirements and client’s (LTA) general specifications. I have been fortunate in building an extensive network of personal and professional contacts with various construction and government officials. I aim to make myself to be trained and make better of my skills and knowledge for my benefits and the benefits of the organization
I speak and write reasonably well, and I am result oriented with a dynamic personality with a strong desire to learn and to succeed. I do possess the drive and determination to take on new challenges. I relate well with people at all levels. I always place the organization’s interests before my own.
I am confident with my strengths of character and experiences, coupled with my drive and convictions would enable me to contribute to the growth of the organization.
