Experienced in providing IT service support to assigned job locations based in hospitals. Assist IT departments in National University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and NUHS polyclinics in asset tagging and inventory stock check.
Locate and retrieve assets in a timely manner and was able to locate and retrieve lost assets which were previously untraceable. Meticulously update and maintain asset inventory records in asset tracking system. Respond, attend to and update on asset support cases on the ground efficiently.
Acquiring and configuring new servers, deploying monitoring servers to track IT infrastructure performance, and ensuring servers meet business needs by recommending appropriate server architecture, storage systems and networking configurations.
Troubleshoot service and security issues, configure server and client IPSec policies, updating and testing policies, backing up configuration baselines, scanning the server segment, and documenting static DNS records and reserved DHCP clients.
Deploy operating systems and manage file systems in a professional setting. Acquired a comprehensive understanding of the upgrade process and the essential steps required for effective file management and sharing within an organizational context.
Analyze cloud requirements, assess available cloud services and propose appropriate cloud solutions. Cloud concepts, architecture, services, cost management and cloud management and governance.
Work efficiently with Linux systems and effective IT infrastructure management and support. User administration, file permissions, software management, storage administration, systems services, network settings, security, and Bash and Shell scripting.
