I am a legal professional with over 12 years of experience in the payments, crypto, and e-commerce industry. Currently, I am serving as a Senior Product Counsel at Binance, Singapore, where I provide legal advice on crypto-based payments projects, regulatory compliance, and licensing matters, among other things. My expertise includes transactional, litigation, licensing, and regulatory affairs.
Prior to my current role, I was a Legal Counsel at Foodpanda Singapore, where I handled regulatory and licensing matters concerning digital payments in the APAC region. I also advised the team on obtaining a Major Payment Institution Licence issued by MAS under the Payment Services Act and collaborated with legal and AML compliance teams to ensure compliance with AML and CFL regulations. I have also worked with Paytm where I managed the company's entire litigation portfolio and interfaced with regulators and law enforcement agencies.
I hold an L.L.B. from University of Delhi, and am a Singapore Personalised Employment Pass Holder and am fluent in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
