Samantha Tan

I am an active individual who is always looking to try out a new sport and go on new adventures. I have been an avid weightlifting fan since I was doing my Diploma and have recently gotten into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I believe in creating a mind-body connection in everything I do and Sports have been an excellent way for me to achieve a sense of serenity while pushing myself to my limits to be the best version of myself.

I have been a Preschool Teacher for just over three years. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Education in Early Childhood from Monash University in 2021, where I was also awarded the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence for being the top student of my cohort. I believe strongly in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and use its methodologies to guide my practices to provide the most authentic learning experiences for my students with the resources I am able to provide them with.
