I always take chances. Even though I knew I would have to face the consequences from my parents, as a child, I broke the majority of my toys to figure out how they worked. I nevertheless decided to take a chance. I soft-bricked my first Android tablet just a few months after receiving it. I discovered new things as a result of my earlier dangerous experimenting while dealing with the severe consequences of my actions. This is the start of my engineering career.
I'm now pursuing an engineering degree in robotics at the Singapore University of Technology & Design to quench my love for tinkering. But why robotics? Well, I think of robots as made-up versions of ourselves.
They contain cutting-edge hardware and software, and they are getting more and more complicated. I'm taking cybersecurity courses outside of my academic coursework since, like us, robot security must be ensured. Intelligent robots nowadays must learn and make an infinite number of judgments based on various circumstances.
I'm studying AI and ML in my free time to enhance my engineering education.
I have found inspiration in art throughout my life's journey. I enjoy going to art exhibits, witnessing incredible AGT performances, and listening to pop music. I started developing my painting skills at a young age, and I still like painting in my own time. You can check examples of my watercolor and acrylic painting skills on my website.
The most thrilling summer I've ever had was this one. I recently had the chance to visit Vietnam and work with five gifted and multilingual Vietnamese kids to create an automobile robot. Additionally, I collaborated virtually with professors from NENU and SZTU in China to develop concepts for and prototypes of an IoT device and a solar-powered boat, respectively.
Again, I’m a risk taker. I will always seize any opportunity I get.
