My name is Uma. I work with Brain oak Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as Software Tester. I do testing on new software features developed by the development team for a web-based application called TMS software. Customers raised Aha requests via Aha System. Product Owner reviews and proceeds with development, including the PD team. My role and responsibilities are to read and understand the new Software Design Documents(SDD) at a high level and write test cases/scenarios based on the function team/TPO meetings with acceptance test criteria. Then validate and review the test scenario and cases with a signoff with TPO(Technical Product Owner). Once the new feature is ready for testing in the QA environment of TMS, I perform the test with the result as pass/fail, raise the defect via jira, and do regression testing.
