Backend Developer

ZEEN Innovation Co., Ltd. is a Thai technology company specializing in AI solutions that improve in-store operations for businesses in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Built on more than five years of hands-on experience with global brands, ZEEN designs and develops own platforms to address practical store management challenges.

We are looking for a Backend Developer (Java) who is passionate about high-performance computing, algorithm design, and system optimization. This role requires someone who can think beyond just writing code—someone who understands how to build efficient and scalable solutions. You will be working on complex systems, optimizing backend logic, and ensuring that our applications can handle increasing demands with minimal latency.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems.
• Build, optimize, and scale RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless system integration.
• Design and implement efficient algorithms to optimize system load, performance, and response time.
• Ensure optimal usage of data structures to enhance application scalability and speed.
• Analyze and improve time and space complexity of backend logic to reduce resource consumption.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance system performance.
• Implement caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to reduce load times.
• Monitor CPU, memory, and network performance and fine-tune applications for best efficiency.
• Develop and manage distributed backend systems capable of handling high traffic.
• Work with cloud computing platforms for scalability and deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Hands-on experience with concurrency, multithreading, and parallel processing.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of load balancing, caching strategies, and API rate limiting.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
