We are working with a multinational financial services company specialising in online trading that is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join its team in Bangkok.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with large datasets, uncovering business insights, investigating data discrepancies, and using analytics to support commercial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business data across deposits, withdrawals, trading volumes, customer behaviour, IB/partner structures, promotions, bonuses, and other commercial areas.
• Identify unusual trends, anomalies, data discrepancies, and potential business risks, and investigate their root causes.
• Reconcile data across CRM systems, trading platforms, internal ledgers, and other sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Build, maintain, and automate recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and business teams.
• Transform complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Investigate business questions related to customer behaviour, churn, promotional performance, and operational or policy changes.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and process improvement through data analysis.
• Collaborate with IT and AI teams to define data requirements and develop additional queries, datasets, and analytical solutions.
• Document data sources, methodologies, assumptions, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Continuously improve analytical processes and reduce reliance on manual reporting.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong SQL skills, including multi-table joins, window functions, and working with large datasets.
• Hands-on Python experience for data analysis, particularly with Pandas, Polars, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate anomalies and identify root causes.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar solutions as part of analytical workflows.
• Strong ownership and ability to independently take analytical tasks from the initial question through to the final conclusion.
• Experience in Forex/CFD, brokerage, fintech, payments, or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Experience with financial reconciliation, dashboards, A/B testing, cohort analysis, or statistical analysis is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DuckDB, Polars, Grafana, Metabase, Looker Studio, or similar tools is an advantage.
