Data Center Engineer

Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and help keep our cloud running reliably, safely, and at scale.

As a Data Center Engineer, you’ll work hands-on with server, hardware, network, and site infrastructure, while supporting incident response, maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and resolve server, hardware, power, and connectivity issues.
• Perform hardware maintenance, replacements, testing, and validation.
• Support network installations, upgrades, and site changes.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Follow and improve SOPs, MOPs, change records, and operational documentation.
• Ensure work meets safety, security, compliance, and SLA requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Networking, Security, and other OCI teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Share knowledge and support the development of other team members.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in data center operations, hardware support, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of servers, components, cabling, power, and network infrastructure.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Understanding of incident, change, and operational processes.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.
