Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure supporting analytics, reporting, and data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across data pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate data workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
• Document data flows, architecture, and technical processes.
• Ensure data security and privacy requirements are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong programming experience in at least one of Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Understanding of data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases; NoSQL experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
