Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Controller role based in Krabi.

The Financial

Controller oversees daily financial operations, including managing accounting activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, and providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making for the hotel.

The Financial

Controller collaborates with department heads to optimize costs, safeguard assets, and maintain strong internal controls. The role also includes preparing forecasts, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Proficiency in Accounting practices, including general ledger management and month-end closing.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Capability in Financial Reporting, including timely and accurate internal and external reports.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support business decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably in hospitality or a service-oriented industry.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Proficiency with financial software and spreadsheets, and comfort working with hotel management systems.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
