Responsible for coordination and management of new product introduction projects based on master timing provided from Program managers.
Responsible to create the Program timing aligned and supported by cross functional team"
Responsible of on time delivery of internal and customer MRDs and milestones to support testing, tryouts or build events according to budget.
Responsible to lead and coordinate implementation of all engineering changes both driven by customer and internally.
Responsible for the APQP/VTPDS program related filing system to keep all evidence and according to company standards and policies complying the retention period policies.
Responsible to ensure sign off product design by assuring design standards, (TDRs).
Responsible to ensure sign off manufacturing plan (Packaging, Flow, fixtures, jigs, equipment).
Responsible to ensure sign off tooling feasibility, (TDRs).
Responsible to lead internal builds ensuring departments comply with their internal responsibilities.
Responsible to ensure R@R success and PPAP compliance on time.
Responsible to deliver New programs with FTT, Cycle time, OEE and Scrap targets compliance.
Responsible to close launch technical issues.
Support VTPDS gate reviews.

Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of new product introduction project supported by core team complying program timing, and delivery plan on time.
Launch manager may have assigned multiple projects at the same time.
Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project activities/tasks according to project requirements to prevent and solve technical issues supported by core team.
Launch Managers Assigns Development Engineers to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with engineering disciplines of them, to work with responsible Engineers in cross-functional team.
Evaluates drawing, design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
Prepares interim and completion project and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions and reports, Key Performance Indicators.
Provide technical reports to customer or visit customer for technical issue discussion if it’s necessary.

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent

Minimum 5 years with a Bachelor's degree having exposure of leading and managing at least 1 program is MANDATORY
Strong Interpretation of 2D and 3D drawings
Well versed and hands on with core tools like APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA
Experience in Manufacturing of Polymer / Plastic Automotive Components [Especially Automotive Lighting] and its Manufacturing Process is PREFERRED.

Experience / Exposure to below aspects of the Job Role will be an added advantage

Core Tools (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC)
Project management (Preference formal training by PMI, certified desairable, not required.)
Advanced Product Quality Planning
Statistics (Descriptive statistics minimum, Inference statistics desariable)
Lean manufacturing (Toyota production systemt knowledge)
Problem solving tools (5 whys, 8D, Cause-effect, P-Diagram, Brainstorming.)
