The People Capability &
- Development Manager plays a key role in driving the learning, leadership, talent development, and people capability agenda for Lyreco Thailand.
This role partners closely with the People &
- Culture Director, senior leaders, people managers, and regional/global teams to identify business and people capability needs, design practical development solutions, and strengthen leadership capability across the organization.
Beyond training delivery, this position is expected to act as a trusted partner to the business, bringing strong people insight, business understanding, and a strategic mindset to support organizational performance, employee engagement, and future talent readiness.
Main Accountabilities
- Work closely with the People &
- Culture Director and business leaders to understand business priorities, people challenges, capability gaps, and development needs across the organization.
Lead the annual learning and people development planning process, ensuring alignment with business strategy, talent priorities, engagement results, and organizational needs.
Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis and capability gap assessments, translating insights into clear development plans and practical learning solutions.
Design, localize, implement, and continuously improve learning and development programs for Lyreco Thailand, including global programs, local programs, leadership programs, sales capability programs, onboarding, soft skills, and manager development.
Learn, master, and localize existing global training materials, including Global Field Sales Best Practice modules, and other global learning initiatives.
Partner with senior leaders and people managers to strengthen leadership capability, coaching skills, performance conversations, feedback culture, and team effectiveness.
Support talent development initiatives, including high-potential development, succession planning support, career development, mentoring, and leadership pipeline building.
Act as a key contributor to broader People &
- Culture initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, change management, onboarding, retention, and culture-building activities.
Design and facilitate high-impact learning experiences through various formats, including classroom training, virtual learning, field coaching, workshops, e-learning, video tutorials, simulations, role plays, and manager toolkits.
Evaluate learning effectiveness and business impact through clear measures, including participant feedback, manager feedback, behavioral change, performance improvement, and relevant people metrics.
Use data and people insights to provide recommendations to the People &
- Culture Director and business leaders on learning priorities, talent risks, and capability development opportunities.
Foster a strong learning culture and knowledge-sharing mindset across the organization.
Manage learning projects end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, communication, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with regional and global People &
- Culture / Learning teams to ensure local implementation is aligned with global direction while remaining relevant to the Thai business context.
Perform other strategic People &
- Culture projects or assignments as assigned by the People &
- Culture Director.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related fields.
- At least 6 - 8 years of experience in Learning &
- Development, Talent Development, People Development, Organizational Development, HR Business Partnering, or related People &
- Culture functions.
Experience working in a multinational company or matrix organization is strongly preferred.
Strong business partnering mindset with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into people development actions.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing learning or people development initiatives from end to end.
Experience in leadership development, talent development, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, or change management will be a strong advantage.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and maturity to work with senior leaders and influence across functions.
Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
Good analytical thinking with the ability to use data, feedback, and business insights to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Highly proactive, mature, hands-on, creative, and solution-oriented.
Strong ownership with the ability to drive initiatives from strategy to execution.
Experience in a sales-driven organization is desirable.
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Thai.
