Role Description The Lecturer role at Khon Kaen University is a full-time, on-site position based in Amphoe Mueang Khon Kaen. The Lecturer will design and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials, ensuring that course content is current, engaging, and aligned with program outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance, providing academic advising, and maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance.

The Lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings, and collaborate with colleagues on academic and administrative initiatives. In addition, the role may involve engaging in scholarly activities, such as research, publication, and participation in academic conferences or community outreach.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching and pedagogical skills, including course planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment.
• Ability to design and update curriculum, learning materials, and educational resources aligned with program objectives.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Research and scholarly abilities, such as conducting studies, publishing academic work, and presenting at conferences.
• Competence in using educational technologies and digital tools to support teaching and learning.
• Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution (doctoral qualification preferred for some departments).
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and support for diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance teaching, research, and service responsibilities.
• Proficiency in English and/or Thai, depending on program requirements;

  experience in international or cross-cultural settings is an advantage.

• Prior university-level teaching experience is highly desirable.
