Material Evaluation & Selection: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate raw materials (e.g., PP grades, masterbatches, specialized polymers) for new and existing product lines (such as plastic injection molding and aerosol components).
Testing & Quality Validation: Design and oversee material testing protocols (e.g., Cpk analysis, stress whitening/white mark investigation, drop/capping tests, and heavy metal testing validation). Coordinate with internal teams or external testing centers (like TPC) for material validation.
Troubleshooting & Technical Investigation: Lead root-cause analyses for material-related defects (e.g., structural weaknesses, aesthetic flaws, processing issues) and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR) or corrective actions (CAR).
Standard Compliance: Ensure all material selections and practices comply with global manufacturing and safety standards, such as BRCGS Packaging Materials, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and C-TPAT.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Team, Quality Assurance, Production, and HQ to support new product development (NPD) and operational improvements.
To support business expansion in Thailand plant which we need an expert person on raw material recommendation, corrective action, problem solving skill, machine design and engineering logic skills.
Engineering engineer will lead the evaluation, testing, and optimization of raw materials (such as polymers, plastics, and packaging materials) to ensure compliance with international industrial standards, enhance product quality, and drive cost-saving or troubleshooting initiatives.
