Mobile Developer (Flutter)

Job Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated Junior to Mid Flutter engineer to join our team. Working alongside our mobile and machine learning engineers you will help deliver YPB’s MotifMicro technology.

MotifMicro is a non-visible material that is detected by our machine learning based app that uses a smartphone’s camera along with our machine learning algorithms in order to provide guaranteed authenticity to protect brands and defeat counterfeits.

You will work closely with both app developers and the machine learning team following best practices to help grow your skills and experience with guidance from other engineers and Team Lead.

If you are interested in machine learning you will be getting your hands dirty with it at YPB.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Mobile development experience with 1+ years of experience in Flutter mobile development.
• Worked on at least 1 Android and iOS cross platform app from start to deployment on App and Play stores
• Experience with third-party libraries and consuming backend APIs
• Proven experience in writing readable code, creating documentation for existing code, and refactoring previously written code
• Java/Swift experience and experience with automated testing and building is a plus
• A highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and proven ability to quickly understand complex business and systems.
• Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g Github).
• An open minded team player who communicates and collaborates well with others.
• Help suggest ideas and innovate
• Able to communicate well in English.

Responsibilities will include, though are not limited to:

• Work closely alongside the Senior developers to build our Technology Demo app and also smaller white label apps that implement our custom SDK.
• Learn from your own new experiences and those around you to improve your skills and practises.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues and suggest fixes and improvements.
