Process Engineer

Job Purpose:

You will drive the process system design and end-to-end delivery for a large-scale transformation project within the GA B&W BU. You will act as a core pillar of a high-performing project team, ensuring all process designs strictly align with standards and global best practices. Ultimately, your engineering expertise will play a pivotal role in the successful execution and operational excellence of this landmark initiative.

Main Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead end-to-end process projects within the GA BW BU, driving all phases from process equipment design and installation to commissioning and seamless handover.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for process engineering, partnering closely with project and production teams to achieve core operational targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with BG Engineering and Factory Engineering to ensure all project executions strictly adhere to standards and global best practices. Process Design & Capacity Optimization
• Design and deliver the new mixer system following standard design.
• Lead engineering design and execution of the mixers relocation.
• Validate capacity assumptions and equipment sizing across all processing assets (including storage vessels, pumps, lines, flow meters, weighers, mixers, and heat exchangers) to ensure required Batch Cycle Times and factory capacities are met.
• Design highly efficient factory layouts that optimize the flow of materials and personnel, minimizing handling and transportation waste for a diverse range of products.
• Architect robust storage and transfer systems for bulk finished products, ensuring seamless integration with packing requirements and overarching factory run strategies.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Champion a "zero-incident" culture by deeply embedding Process Safety principles into all equipment design and execution phases.
• Lead HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies across designated factory areas to proactively identify risks and guarantee safety in design.
• Ensure strict compliance with hygienic design principles, maintaining the highest standards for product safety and quality

Candidate Experience & Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5 years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Cosmetics/Beauty, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Process Optimization: Proven track record in driving continuous process improvements and enhancing production efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: Hands-on experience executing HAZOP studies and navigating Safety Approval Systems.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in end-to-end engineering project management.

Skill

• Engineering Standards: Deep understanding of core process design standards and engineering best practices.
• Quality & Hygiene: Strong command of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygienic design principles, and relevant regulatory compliance requirements. · Process Control: Solid knowledge of process control systems, including both hardware and software integrations.
• Working knowledge of engineering and design software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment.
