Quality Engineering Manager

Job Summary The Manager, Quality Controlling & Standardization is responsible for driving quality performance across manufacturing plants through quality controlling, KPI management, and standardization initiatives. The role focuses on improving customer satisfaction, implementing quality standards, monitoring performance, leading corrective actions, and promoting continuous improvement and best practices across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the MQB process and quality controlling activities across plants.
• Define, implement, and monitor quality KPIs, targets, and reporting standards.
• Track quality performance and customer-related quality metrics through plant systems and customer portals.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions to address quality deviations and improve performance.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities, complaint handling, and quality escalations.
• Coordinate and moderate cross-company quality meetings within the supply chain.
• Develop and standardize quality management practices across shop floor operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CIP) and share best practices throughout the organization.
• Work closely with Lean Management and Shop Floor Management teams to establish quality control standards.
• Coach and supervise team members while allocating and monitoring work activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools, CSR requirements, and quality methodologies.
• Experience in quality KPI management, quality controlling, and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Shop Floor Management practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Experience working with regional or multi-country operations is an advantage.
• Leadership capability to coach, guide, and support team performance.
