Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer | Bangkok A well-established and reputable organization in Thailand, our client runs a large business where data shapes everyday decisions. They are on the hunt for an experienced and driven Senior Data Engineer to become a key contributor to their data team. The successful candidate will strengthen the company’s data platform and partner with analytics and business teams to deliver trusted data at scale.

He or she should have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with proven expertise in large-scale data processing.

Your role :

• Build dependable pipelines that move and transform large volumes of data
• Shape the architecture of the company’s analytical data stores
• Keep data accurate, consistent and well documented
• Make sure data is protected and accessed by the right people
• Make data faster and easier to use for analysts and data scientists
• Research and bring in better tools and practices
• Coach junior engineers and set technical standards

Your background :

• Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years building data solutions in production
• Hands-on Spark experience on large datasets
• Advanced SQL and solid data modeling
• Experience with cloud-based data services
• Good engineering habits: code reviews, testing, automated deployment
• Exposure to BI and reporting is an advantage
• Clear communicator and strong problem solver
