About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join an established engineering squad and help accelerate our delivery. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust web applications using Angular on the front end and Java on the back end. As part of an agile team, you’ll dive right into standard feature development, bug fixes, and ongoing application enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end applications using Angular.
- Design, build, and support back-end services and APIs with Java.
- Work closely within an agile development team to deliver new features and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that follows established coding standards.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and debug issues across both front-end and back-end systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Angular, including TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and related frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Ability to quickly adapt to an existing team, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to software delivery with minimal ramp-up time.
