This role is for someone who can take ownership of systems, lead execution on complex features, and elevate the team’s engineering standards through example.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex features and systems across frontend backend
• Work directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements into clear technical solutions
• Drive technical direction: architecture, structure, standards, and implementation choices
• Build production-ready software with a strong focus on reliability and maintainability
• Champion engineering quality: testing strategy, CI/CD workflows, code standards
• Lead code reviews and coach others through implementation decisions
• Identify risk early (performance, scaling, security, reliability) and propose solutions
• Improve the team’s development workflows (automation, deployment, monitoring, documentation)
• Help break down vague requirements into tasks, estimate and plan execution in a structured way
• Make and justify trade-offs between speed and quality based on context

Must-Have

• 5 years of full-stack development experience, or equivalent hands-on experience, building and maintaining production web applications.
• Proven ability to deliver features end-to-end independently, from understanding requirements and designing the solution to implementation, testing, deployment support, and improvement.
• Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders, product owners, or non-technical teams to clarify requirements and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code quality, maintainability, version control, review processes, and reliable release workflows.
• Practical experience with automated testing, such as unit, integration, or end-to-end testing, and the judgment to decide where testing creates the most value.
• Understanding of CI/CD, deployment workflows, linting, formatting, and static analysis as part of building reliable production software.
• Strong architectural thinking, with the ability to structure applications, APIs, data flows, and components in a way that is scalable, maintainable, and understandable for the team.
• Ability to mentor other developers through code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and raising the overall engineering standard of the team.
• Comfortable balancing speed, quality, and business priorities under real-world constraints.

Bonus Points For

• Experience acting as a technical owner or leading a small squad/project team, including helping break down requirements, guide implementation, review work, and make practical technical decisions.
• Experience designing systems that handle complex business logic, such as campaigns, promotions, rewards, rules engines, customer journeys, or marketplace/e-commerce workflows.
• Familiarity with Nuxt/Vue projects, especially building scalable frontend architecture, reusable components, and API-connected web applications.
• Experience working with Docker, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or cloud-based environments, even at a basic to intermediate level.
• Exposure to AI-enabled products, LLM integrations, RAG, automation workflows, or building applications that use AI APIs.
• Understanding of Agile ways of working, including Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, estimation, story breakdown, and continuous improvement.
• Awareness of production-quality practices such as security, performance optimization, logging, monitoring, observability, and maintainability.
• Exposure to marketing technology, CRM, loyalty, promotion mechanics, customer data platforms, or commercial transformation projects.
