Training Manager

Role Description The Training Manager role at BITZER is a full-time, on-site position based in Thailand. The Training Manager will design, develop, and deliver technical and product training programs for internal teams, customers, and partners, ensuring that participants understand BITZER’s technologies, solutions, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the local and regional technical training strategy in alignment with global business objectives, acting as the primary training focal point for Thailand and assigned regional markets.
• Develop, standardize, and deploy refrigeration and HVAC-R technical training programs across the region, ensuring alignment with global competency and certification frameworks.
• Manage the Thailand Technical Training Center as a regional center of excellence and support the setup and improvement of regional training facilities where required.
• Build, lead, and develop a regional network of trainers, including Train-the-Trainer programs, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Serve as the regional technical authority for advanced refrigeration technologies, including CO₂, ammonia (NH₃), A2L/low-GWP refrigerants, and sustainable cooling solutions, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders across Engineering, Service, Sales, and After-Sales functions, and support customer, dealer, and partner training initiatives.
• Monitor training performance, governance, and effectiveness through defined KPIs, reporting outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
• Drive innovation in training delivery, including digital and blended learning solutions, and support future workforce capability development for the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in training management, instructional design, or learning and development, preferably in technical, engineering, or HVAC/R-related environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple training programs and schedules.
• Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms for training delivery and documentation.
• Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in engineering, technical education, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess training needs and measure training outcomes.
• Prior experience in the refrigeration, air conditioning, or industrial technology sector is an advantage; fluency in English is required, additional regional languages are beneficial.
