I am Nina and am writing to apply for the teaching position as I believe my teaching experience and passion for young learners make me an ideal candidate for this school. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2001 from Iran. Although I graduated many years ago, I have been upgrading my knowledge and skills.

I gained a Graduate Diploma in Teaching English to Young Learners (GDTEL) from Singapore, a TEFL teaching certificate, and TEYL from Canada. Also, attending various Professional Developments (PDs) in Thailand, make me a professionally certified teacher for preschoolers.

As a Lower primary English teacher and Early Years N/K teacher, I have been instrumental in creating a thriving and welcoming environment that pursues the objectives and implements the policies set out by the school. For example, I implemented Communication Friendly Space (CFS) policies at the N/K level, in my school, to provide more opportunities for children to learn and enjoy being at school. Also, I have set up a discipline and reward system for primary students to give regular feedback on learning and behavior to students.

My goal is to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, and intelligent teacher who will positively contribute to your school district.

Assumption College Thonburi (Bell center-British): From August 2021 to present. In Bangkok

Grade 1 and Grade 2 English teacher.

• Worked with a British curriculum, used Our World books, having Cambridge exams with a focus on all skills.
• Prepared effective CELTA Lesson plan with clear stages to achieve lesson aims.
• Measured students’ language proficiency with CEFR tools, an arrow will appear on their report cards indicating students’ overall ability.
• Used National Geography Learning to bring the world to the classroom and the classroom to life. Through the stories, ideas, photography, and video.
• Planned and carried out the daily activities, individualized the children’s progress, and made them eligible for the upper grade.
• Trained and passed formal, buzz, yearly, and QAD observations (Quality Assurance and Development visited from the UK).

HRT of Nursery Level 2 (3 to 4 years old) (EYFS1). From August 2019 to 2021, In Bangkok, Pracha Uthit Campus:

• Taught Home Based Learning (HBL) through Google Meet, during the Covid-19 .
• Observed students to find out the applicable Learning Outcomes for the students, and stated them in the report card comments.
• Developed the quality of Learning of Students by Preparing a suitable lesson plan, different learning centers with age-appropriate activities, and clear objectives, as well as giving choices to the kids to choose their favorite centers to explore, and having open-ended questions.
• Successfully developed students' character by teaching the School Values such as Responsibility, Respect, Resilience, and Independence through incorporating Values into the class rules and routines, and Reward systems to motivate students to learn the values.
• Familiarized with an integrated Technology tool such as the Seesaw Application to communicate with parents by posting classroom activities, also having Bi-Weekly comments.

• Successfully trained and managed a team of 20 Native and Non-Native HRT and TAs at Nursery level 1, in the first year of opening a new campus in Thonburi District, in 2017.
• Supervised and observed the teachers to find out their strengths and weaknesses and have input into the appraisal form.
• Analyzed and evaluated new students to ensure they can join and meet the curriculum. Also helped to double the number of students throughout the first year of opening the school and onwards.
• Built and developed the confidence to lecture for 100 to 150 parents in Coffee Meetings to update them on academics, and events and also open to receiving feedback, concerns, and troubleshooting.
• Successfully maintained effective classroom management by establishing clear guidelines for Teachers Assistants (TAs) to prepare learning materials, have a positive rapport with children, and improve their weaknesses in different areas with considering CFS.
