• Examined plant roots and prepared root-associated bacteria for experimentation, using dilution, centrifugation, and spread plate techniques to obtain a large number of unknown microorganisms from natural sources
• Increased bacterial colony numbers using streak plate techniques and prepared various culture media, based on autoclave vapor pressure principles and aseptic technique
• Extracted bacterial genomic DNA using a BGDE kit and amplified genetic material using PCR for analysis and identification of bacterial species
• Measured levels of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (IAA) using the Salkowski colorimetric technique and a spectrophotometer to select bacterial strains for experiment
