- Lead and implemented Gift Card expansion within the Twitch payment platform to 3 new countries, including updates to eliminate gift card related customer support issues for wallet balance accuracy, and achieve 99.99% reliability for gift card redemptions into wallet. Collaborated with product managers to define requirements and deliver high impact product features.
- Eliminated $700k recurring revenue loss in the Twitch payments platform by researching, identifying, and fixing issues with transaction refunds and Google Developer API integration. Also implemented consistent subscription states and enhanced the test suite to prevent future monetary discrepancies for refunds in the Twitch payments platform. Collaborated with the accounting team and product managers to handle cross-functional requirements.
- Automated state verification for all Twitch subscriptions with Apple by implementing API-based vendor integration with iOS developer APIs. The implementation includes authentication, decryption, parsing, filtering, aggregation, and upload of data. Prior to my solution, Engineers had to undertake the tedious task of manually interacting with Apple APIs to gather data periodically due to the lack of an easy-to-use vendor portal offered by Apple. Collaborated with engineers to identify bottlenecks and fixed them.
- Optimized AWS Lambda utilization in the Twitch payments platform by implementing a builder pattern for selective loading of API clients for outbound API interactions to reduce initialization time, resource usage, and failure rate
