Job Description

Apply theories, principles and practices to the research and development of electromagnetic modeling and inversion software. This is a full-time position with rate of pay commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities / Projects

• Electromagnetic modeling and inversion software architecture and development
• Develop electromagnetic data processing workflows and procedures
• Interpret and analyze complex information

Desired Education and Work Experience

• Master degree or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or electrical engineering
• Computer science and programming-related degrees or experience are a plus
• Experience with MATLAB and Fortran
• Experience with algorithm parallelization
• Experience developing numerical modeling, optimization, and inversion software

Qualifications

• Proficient in English
• High level of attention to detail, thorough, positive, good communication
• Thrives in a fast-paced, highly-autonomous startup environment
• Team player with a great attitude

• Legally authorized to work in the United States, or willing to be sponsored to legally work in the United States under an appropriate employment-based visa.
