Job Description
Apply theories, principles and practices to the research and development of electromagnetic modeling and inversion software. This is a full-time position with rate of pay commensurate with education and experience.
Responsibilities / Projects
- Electromagnetic modeling and inversion software architecture and development
- Develop electromagnetic data processing workflows and procedures
- Interpret and analyze complex information
Desired Education and Work Experience
- Master degree or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or electrical engineering
- Computer science and programming-related degrees or experience are a plus
- Experience with MATLAB and Fortran
- Experience with algorithm parallelization
- Experience developing numerical modeling, optimization, and inversion software
Qualifications
- Proficient in English
- High level of attention to detail, thorough, positive, good communication
- Thrives in a fast-paced, highly-autonomous startup environment
- Team player with a great attitude
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, or willing to be sponsored to legally work in the United States under an appropriate employment-based visa.
