Algorithm Software Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in a STEM field - 5-10 years of experience in algorithm development or applied software engineering - Proficient in programming with C++ or comparable languages - Proven experience in validating algorithms against real-world scenarios - Candidates must pass a government security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for classified information access - Preferred: Experience with radar or sensor-based systems - Preferred: Familiarity with real-time or embedded systems - Preferred: Background in regulated or classified environments - Preferred: Strong foundation in mathematics or signal processing

Responsibilities:

- Design, create, and enhance algorithms for signal processing, control systems, or data analytics - Convert algorithm specifications into efficient and maintainable software solutions - Collaborate with systems engineers to ensure performance meets real-world standards - Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation to comply with industry and program protocols - Assist in the integration of software into embedded and real-time systems
