API Developer - Java, PL/SQL, Azure

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Over 7 years of practical software development experience - Advanced proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (Java programming is a must) - Direct experience in implementing API-based solutions with JAVA Spring Boot - In-depth understanding of relational database design and data modeling - Practical experience in database development across various platforms (e.g., Oracle), including stored procedures (PL/SQL) and ETL tools - Background in designing metadata-driven end-to-end systems/solutions for configurable products targeting rapid market entry - Strong grasp of cloud computing, with hands-on expertise in public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure - Proficient in presenting and articulating ideas and solutions to stakeholders - Exceptional influencing and negotiation abilities; proven record of successfully operating within a matrix organization - Good knowledge of WS product offerings and their integration methods across diverse record keepers is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

- Create and enhance leading software engineering products and solutions for the Employer Servicing and Integration Product area teams - Lead complex technological initiatives across various squads to achieve business objectives - Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to ensure transparency in requirements, architecture, and design - Share knowledge and expertise within and beyond the chapter and squads, ensuring alignment of the teams work with established roadmaps and guidelines
