Requirements

Must have:

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in API Gateway management and observability tools - Proficient in deploying proxies and updating policies in Apigee - Experience with Datadog for monitoring API health and performance - Capable of troubleshooting with guidance and documenting root cause analyses - Knowledge in creating automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Ansible - Strong collaboration skills for working alongside internal teams - Familiarity with maintaining operational runbooks and documentation

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of the Apigee API Gateway - Oversee proxy deployments and policy updates - Implement and maintain Datadog dashboards for performance visibility - Assist in troubleshooting incidents and participate in root cause analysis documentation - Develop automation scripts and operational playbooks - Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure a secure API platform - Update and maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles
