Mentor others in general technical skills as well as applications and processes.
Provide input into general architectural decisions and design stability.
Provide input to assist in team and project process improvement.
Consistently exercises discretion and judgment.
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Skills and Abilities
9+ year work experience developing applications a must.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of and experience in:
Java, J2EE design patterns, Web content presentation methods (HTML, XSL, etc.), JDBC and SQL, SOAPUI, Spring Framework including Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration, Webservices, CSS, JavaScriptAdditional experience should include Windows desktop and server applications (such as MS Office and SQL Server), some Unix, and basic hardware systems.
Solid interpersonal skills.
Ability to communication clearly in written and verbal form.
Exceptional problem solving and debugging abilities.
Flexibility with respect to hours.
Occasional late/weekend hours to meet development deadlines.
Occasional off-hours deployment support work
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to work on a computer terminal & use a telephone
