About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer with a strong focus on Snowflake to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python (90%), Java, and modern programming technologies, and will have experience working with Snowflake, Postgres, and AI solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading financial institution on cutting-edge data engineering and AI-powered solutions.As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying data pipelines using Snowflake and Postgres, while leveraging AI techniques to drive business value.

You'll collaborate closely with database infrastructure engineers and automation teams, helping to integrate AI solutions into enterprise-level data solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy applications and prototypes using Python, Java, and other relevant technologies.

Design and implement data pipelines and ML workflows on the Snowflake and Postgres platforms.

Use AI, Snowflake Notebooks, and Postgres for building and integrating data solutions.

Implement and experiment with machine learning models and embeddings to demonstrate real-world business value.

Collaborate with infrastructure and automation teams to support global deployment and management of database products.

Create maintainable demo code and prototypes, making them understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Python (90%) and Java.

Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting is a plus.

Proven experience with Snowflake (AI and Notebooks), Postgres, and embedding techniques.

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and hands-on implementation in modern data platforms.

Ability to create clear, maintainable demo code and prototypes.

Snowflake Certifications (preferred, with a focus on AI).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Experience working in the financial or banking industry is a plus.

Round 1: 45-minute Zoom interview (Technical & Behavioral)

Round 2:

In-person interview (Hands-on technical interview)
