Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and amend application software utilizing various programming languages such as Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and C#. - Apply multiple design patterns, including MVC, web services, SOA, and microservices. - Integrate COTS products, utilize APIs, engage with data repositories, and oversee system interfaces. - Oversee legacy code management and develop new code employing container technologies like Kubernetes. - Create and implement unit tests to ensure code fulfills functional requirements. - Identify and apply secure coding techniques to enhance code security. - Review and test code on a daily basis. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, vulnerabilities, and functional defects. - Minimize technical debt by adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate closely with Systems Analysts to develop or adjust software to align with organizational business requirements. - Ensure all code complies with government system security mandates.
