Requirements
Must have:
- High School diploma with over 9 years of application development experience (or equivalent qualifications) - Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance application software utilizing various programming languages such as Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and C#. - Employ design patterns including MVC, web services, SOA, and/or microservices. - Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, utilize APIs, interact with data repositories, and manage system interfacing. - Oversee legacy code and/or create new code through container technologies like Kubernetes. - Create and execute unit tests to ensure code fulfills functional specifications. - Identify and apply secure coding practices to enhance code security. - Conduct daily code reviews. - Troubleshoot integration challenges, security vulnerabilities, and functional defects. - Minimize technical debt by adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate closely with Systems Analysts to develop or adjust software according to organizational needs. - Ensure compliance of all code with government system security regulations.
