Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. Join our team as a Full Stack Software Developer and help build the internal applications that power General Atomics’ operations. You’ll work across the entire technology stack—from database design to front-end interfaces—developing scalable solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity for teams across the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web applications across the full stack

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions

Build backend services and APIs using modern frameworks (e.g., Ruby on Rails or C#/.NET)

Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks

Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)

Develop automation solutions to streamline internal processes and reduce manual effort

Participate in CI/CD pipelines and application deployments

Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across production and non-production environments

Job Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Experience building or contributing to full stack web applications

Experience with a modern Version Control System (VCS) platform (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Azure)

Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Ansible, Artifactory)

Familiarity of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tooling (e.g., prompt engineering, API integration, AI-assisted workflows, Claude Code)

Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.

Job Type: Full-Time Hourly Salary range: 71,950 - 109,885
