One of our leading client is looking for Backend Engineer with Python
Role Summary : Need a GCP Backend Engineer to build and enhance cloud-native APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) supporting a strategic voice platform modernization initiative. The role focuses on developing scalable backend services and integrations to enable migration of voice services to Twilio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop integrations using Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, and BigQuery.
- Implement unit and integration testing using pytest and httpx.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Expertise in REST API and Microservices development with experience in pytest, httpx, and automated testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, BigQuery
