Payrate : 70 including referral so we can pay the candidate 60-62 and keep the rest to sabse.

Job Description

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Backend Java Engineer to join its Fraud Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing. This role focuses on building backend applications and supporting data transformation and movement across cloud environments that power fraud-related platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop Microservices and REST APIs for enterprise applications.
Build secure, high-quality production code and perform technical troubleshooting.
Develop and support cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
Work on large-scale data transformation, cleansing, aggregation, and movement processes.
Analyze and process large datasets to support business and technology initiatives.
Create design and architecture artifacts while ensuring development standards are met.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
Participate in Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Required Skills

5+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
Strong SQL and database querying skills.
Experience processing and manipulating large datasets.

Financial services or fraud platform experience is a plus
Open to relocating and working onsite in Wilmington, DE from Day 1.
