About The Role

We're looking for experienced Backend Python Engineers to evaluate AI-generated code, build complex algorithmic challenges, and help push the boundaries of what AI can do with software.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior Python developers who want meaningful, high-impact work alongside cutting-edge AI research labs — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to PEP 8 and industry best practices
• Design and develop complex backend algorithmic solutions and data processing scripts that challenge AI reasoning at its limits
• Write clear, human-readable explanations of backend logic, architectural decisions, and code quality judgements
• Identify edge cases, security vulnerabilities, and failure modes in AI-generated API logic
• Provide structured, expert-level feedback that directly informs how AI models learn to write better code

Who You Are

• Deep expertise in Python, including modern frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
• 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production-level Python code
• Strong grasp of advanced Python language features, performance considerations, and software design principles
• Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex technical concepts clearly and precisely
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async environment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, RLHF, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in API security, distributed systems, or data engineering
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and edge case analysis
