Business Development Representative
Job description
Maps Machine — Orem, UT · Full-time, in-office
Did you do summer sales… and realize you never want to knock another door again? But still want a chance to earn the compensation of a good sales person?
Let's talk.
At Maps Machine, we help remodeling contractors dominate their local market on Google — and we're growing fast. We're hiring BDRs who already know how to handle a "no," love the competition of sales, and want a real career instead of one brutal summer at a time.
What you'd actually do:
- Cold call remodeling companies and book qualified appointments
- Own your pipeline and hit daily and weekly targets
- Learn the fundamentals of B2B sales from the ground up
- Did door-to-door or summer sales and proved you can grind — but want to do it from a desk, in one place, year-round
- Have done well in customer service or phone experience
- Are coachable, competitive, and hard to rattle
- Communicate well and think fast on the phone
- Want to build a career, not just clock in
- Base pay that climbs as you level up ($11–$13/hr) this operates as your base.
- $50 for every meeting you book that shows — uncapped
- Weekly bonuses for top performers
- Tons of drinks/snacks. Tons of energy/soda/hydration options. Sales needs snacks. We got em.
- Solid reps clear ~$45K+; top reps push past $80K
- A real path forward: BDR → SDR → Account Executive, earned on results, not tenure. Most recent rep went from BDR to AE in months, not years. You are only gated by your own result, not a manager telling you "you are almost ready" for months.
We're not looking for people who want easy. We're looking for people who want to win.
