SD DEVELOPER GENERAL SUMMARY:

Develops quick, self-contained IT solutions that solve business needs. Develops solutions in accordance with standards such that solutions can be readily expanded by a full-scale project team. Uses diverse technologies, and has a deep understanding of business processes to quickly deliver tactical solutions to enhance the business ability to capitalize on opportunities.

PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish a solid understanding of customer's business (Energy Trading/Finance), including drivers for economic and financial success Work effectively as part of a team (e.g.

paired programming) to develop solutions and enhance the knowledge of the team Have the capability to define the problem and to design an appropriate solution Have the ability to operate in an uncertain business environment, and deal with ambiguity from business partners Has strong skills in developing user interfaces Ability to document a solution including business cases, testing documentation, application documentation, and design documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED, and at least seven years experience performing programming or other related IT duties, OR Bachelor's degree and three years of experience performing IT related duties

Also:Knowledge of both corporate and industry standards towards developing solid IT solutions and 3rd generation programming languages (.NET) Knowledge of computer software and hardware components Have exceptional written and oral communication skills, and be able to present complex technical solutions to others Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information .

Abilty to handle multiple tasks at one time. Have exceptional analytical and time-management skills and be able to establish goals, set priorities and meet deadlines. Be familiar with commercial solutions to web-scraping and data mining . Understand OOD and have skills in database design. Familiarity with computer networking technologies.
