Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at showcase. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing our multi-cloud infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and infrastructure teams, to design and implement cloud-native infrastructure solutions that align with showcase's overall business objectives.

Apply industry best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistency, repeatability, and efficiency in our cloud infrastructure deployments, using Terraform and Ansible.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud security fundamentals and implement security compliance standards to protect showcase's infrastructure and data.

Optimize cloud costs by analyzing and implementing cost-effective strategies, ensuring that showcase's cloud infrastructure is aligned with its financial objectives.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and contribute to the development of showcase's cloud strategy and roadmap.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on designing and deploying scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.

Deep expertise in either AWS or GCP, with a proven track record of successfully designing and deploying cloud-native infrastructure solutions.

Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible, with experience in implementing IaC best practices and automated provisioning.

Strong networking and security fundamentals, with a deep understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.

Kubernetes Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is preferred but not required.
