Cloud Software Engineer

An employer supporting national security clients is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to contribute to designing, building, and maintaining modern, cloud-native applications and tools. This role offers the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, data scientists, and AI scientists and contribute to innovative technology development and experimentation.

• Collaborate with senior software engineers to develop and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
• Maintain well-documented, formatted, and version-controlled code and participate in code review.
• Develop custom APIs and microservices, including containerization.
• Create code to process data stored in both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Facilitate seamless code promotion from development to production by resolving technical issues identified by testing.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 2+ years of experience or MS (4 years experience in lieu of degree).
• Strong experience with Java Spring Boot and at least one other language (e.g., GO, Python).
• Strong experience using AWS CLI and AWS SDK.
