COBOL Developer

The Role

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather course material.
• Analyze program requirements and determine strategic solutions.
• Convert written materials and maintain existing courseware.
• Analyze user/business software system requirements.
• Maintain documentation for software development policies.
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts.

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience with COBOL & DB2.
• Ability to attain and maintain a USPS Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with Changeman for code promotion.
• Ability to scan libraries for keywords to research issues.
• Familiarity with creating ServiceNow Change requests.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred, or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience.
