This full-time, onsite role is based in East Aurora, NY, supporting advanced manufacturing operations within a high‑performance engineering environment.
About the OpportunityThis role is ideal for a technically strong, solutions‑driven developer who thrives at the intersection of manufacturing, automation, and enterprise applications.
You'll serve as the primary technical resource for Siemens NX, TeamCenter, and post‑processor development—driving efficiency, standardization, and innovation across the Military Aircraft Group's operations.
You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and enterprise IT to enhance CAM workflows, support post‑processor development, lead training, and champion emerging technologies such as AI‑assisted programming and Model‑Based Definition (MBD).
Develop, configure, and support NX CAM, TeamCenter integrations, and post‑processor solutions
Serve as the service owner for post‑development requests, managing roadmaps, standards, and continuous improvement
Build and manage vendor relationships to support make‑buy decisions for post‑processor procurement
Provide training and technical guidance to engineering teams
Support enterprise CAM configurations and troubleshoot NX CAM issues
Drive adoption of advanced CAx tools, including AI‑assisted CNC programming and MBD workflows
Collaborate with enterprise IT on upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of progressive technical experience with NX CAM
Experience with Post Builder, Post Configurator, .tcl files, and machine controls
Proven software development aptitude and experience delivering technical solutions
Strong communication skills and the ability to support users across all levels
Demonstrated project management capability and vendor management experience
