As a multi-purpose community space, it will host signature events like trade nights and collector meet-ups, as well as provide rentable space for various gatherings.
Rooted in southeast Wisconsin, The Slab is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships within the community and elevating the collector experience.
This is a contract hybrid role for a Content Developer located in Shorewood, WI, with some remote work flexibility. The Content Developer will create engaging materials, develop innovative content strategies, and work collaboratively to enhance The Slab's presence across digital and in-person platforms.
Responsibilities include content creation for educational and promotional materials, developing instructional designs for hobby-related events, and producing technical writing to support professional operations.
The Content Developer will align with The Slab's brand values and ensure content reflects the community-focused mission.
Proficiency in Content Development and Writing
Experience with Instructional Design and Technical Writing
Strong Communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas clearly
Creativity and attention to detail in developing engaging, on-brand content
Experience in the collectibles and hobby industry is a plus
Self-motivated and capable of working in both independent and collaborative environments
