Requirements
Must have:
- Strong expertise in Core Java and sound software design practices - Experience working across the full software development lifecycle and related toolchains - Proficiency with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development - Knowledge of cloud development, resiliency patterns, and application security - Ability to work effectively in large, complex environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructure platforms - Strong communication and coaching capabilities - 8+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles - Preferred: Exposure to public cloud platforms and container orchestration - Preferred: Agile delivery leadership and contributions to the technical community through talks or publications
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and tune Java services and applications for large-scale initiatives - Apply Agile practices and help strengthen team performance within Agile environments - Lead and mentor engineers to raise technical skill and engineering standards - Implement CI/CD, TDD, and cloud-native approaches with an emphasis on resilience and security - Work collaboratively across multiple operating systems and infrastructure ecosystems - Assess emerging technologies and recommend how they can solve business challenges
