📋 We’re Hiring: DevSecOps Engineer

📍 Location: United States (Remote)

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

💼 Level: Mid-Level to Senior (4–8 years)

🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a security-focused DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into every stage of our development and deployment lifecycle. In this fully remote role, you’ll work at the intersection of DevOps, security, and engineering—ensuring our systems are secure, compliant, and resilient without slowing down delivery.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about automation, cloud security, and building secure-by-design infrastructure.

🎯 What You’ll Do

Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning)

Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Manage secrets, identity, and access controls (IAM, Vault, etc.)

Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and security threats

Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate security issues

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with security best practices

Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)

Enhance incident response and threat detection capabilities

✅ What We’re Looking For

4–8 years of experience in DevOps, security engineering, or DevSecOps roles

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Hands-on experience with security tools (Snyk, Checkmarx, Aqua, etc.)

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Understanding of security frameworks and best practices

Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)

Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Must be authorized to work in the United States

🌟 Nice to Have

Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, etc.)

Experience with zero-trust architecture or secure SDLC practices

Familiarity with SIEM and monitoring tools

Experience in SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments

Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment

Experience with Kubernetes security and runtime protection
