Must have:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelors degree with 12 years of experience, Associates degree with 14 years of experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 16 years of experience.
- Strong expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI).
- Proficient in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Understanding of federal security standards (NIST RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust).
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and key management services.
- Familiar with logging and monitoring platforms (Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Awareness of API security and best practices for secure software development.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute significantly to the modernization of software development, security, and deployment processes within FAA programs.
- Design and implement automation frameworks and cloud-native infrastructures.
- Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to create secure solutions that enhance FAA modernization projects.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with security protocols.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Integrate security assessment and compliance checks into development workflows.
- Work closely with software engineers and architects to ensure secure system architecture.
- Assist with the migration and deployment processes in cloud and hybrid settings (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and implement containerization and orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, automate remediation, and manage patching processes.
- Create monitoring, logging, and alerting infrastructures to guarantee system reliability and durability.
- Document DevSecOps methodologies, guidelines, and procedures while ensuring FAA and federal compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on DevSecOps methodologies to development teams.
- Incorporate security tools and practices within DevOps pipelines.
- Automate testing processes for performance, security, and compliance objectives.
- Aid in audit preparedness and compliance reporting through automation solutions.
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments focused on DevSecOps workflows.
