DevSecOps Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- We require an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully complete a CI polygraph.

• We require U.S. citizenship and eligibility under applicable export control rules.
• We require a bachelors degree in Information Systems or a closely related field.
• We require at least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• We require experience with source control systems such as Git.
• We require CI/CD development experience with Bash, Python, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• We require experience with automated deployment tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• We require cloud deployment experience with OpenStack or OpenShift.
• We require experience deploying and maintaining open-source applications.
• We require experience deploying and maintaining custom source applications.
• We require moderate Linux system administration experience in RedHat and/or CentOS environments.
• We require working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, web services, and SQL databases.
• We require experience working in an Agile environment.
• We require the ability to work onsite.
• We prefer a Security+ certification or an equivalent credential for privileged user access.
• We prefer experience with distributed processing technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, and IaaS/PaaS services.
• We prefer experience developing and deploying web services.
• We prefer experience supporting software in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

- We design, build, and maintain multiple DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins/GitLab, SonarQube, Cucumber, Cypress, ArgoCD, and similar solutions.

• We evaluate, select, and integrate new tools into our pipeline ecosystem.
• We integrate automated deployments for DevSecOps tools and application services using Keycloak, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, and related container platforms.
• We implement CI/CD solutions that support rapid development and integration.
• We automate environments end to end through infrastructure as code.
• We embed static code analysis and other security controls into our pipelines.
• We design and apply hybrid deployment approaches across cloud and local virtualized environments.
• We collaborate with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation workflows.
• We create and track deployment and test outcome metrics through dashboards.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting networks, automation pipelines, and infrastructure.
• We build, maintain, and monitor configuration management for release products.
