Embedded Software Engineer (On?Site | Pittsburgh, PA – High Bay Test & Office)

I'm looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a precision technology team building and validating embedded features used in precision mining applications (including hyperspectral analysis).

If you enjoy solving complex problems close to the hardware and working in an Agile engineering environment, this could be a great fit.

Location:

Pittsburgh, PA (On?Site Full Time)

Schedule:

M–F, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST

Pay:

$50 - $54 an hr

What You'll Work On

Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software features from requirements through deployment

Embedded development in C/C++ (Linux environment), with Python used for tooling/automation

Troubleshooting, triage, and issue resolution in a fast?moving product environment

Validation plan development and execution (feature-level + system-level testing)

Cross?functional collaboration with machine, systems, software, and validation teams

Working with datalinks/communications (ex:

CAN, Ethernet)

Using core dev tools:

Git, debuggers, compilers, and test suites (C test / GTest)

Must?Haves:

Strong coding in C, C++, and Python

Strong software design / analysis skills

Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering (or related)

2–3 years industry experience (Master's + 1–2 years accepted)

Ability to communicate clearly and constructively (can "hold a position without confrontation")

Nice?to?Haves:

Robotics or autonomy exposure
